A bag is a virtual storage place where the products of an order are assigned. This temporary location facilitates the traceability of the products and acts as a link between the picker and the packer.
Types of bags
- Order: it is the one you should use to store products during a picking process.
- Return: it is used to classify those products that arrive at the warehouse when the customer has returned them. Keep in mind that there are subcategories according to the characteristics of the products.
- Carrier: it is used to classify orders once packaged to distribute them correctly by shipping companies.
- Broken product: used to classify those products that have arrived at the warehouse in poor condition and cannot be used for orders.
