The Sets picking method is a strategy that groups different orders with common products to process them simultaneously, optimising the time and effort of the operator.
How do I carry out the picking?
-
In the side menu of the Amphora App, select 'Orders'. Then, on the bottom bar, tap 'Picking', select 'Picking Tasks' and 'Sets'.
-
A product will appear on the screen with its location, all its information, and the quantity to pick. You must scan the location where the product is found and then its barcode, although sometimes, depending on the product or warehouse configuration, you only need to scan the barcode.
-
Manually select the quantity of product until the required units are reached (+1, +5, +10).
Repeat these same steps with the remaining products that appear on the screen.
WARNING!
If marketing products (packaging) appear at the end of the picking task, press 'Next' as it is not necessary to scan the location or the barcode.
-
Once you have finished picking, you will see a summary of all the picked products. Press 'Scan bag' to assign these products to a bag so they can be identified when packing is done later. Scan it and confirm it to complete the picking process.
How should I do the packing?
To begin, head to the packing station and connect to the Amphora Station by scanning the QR code in the top right corner with the universal scanner of the Amphora App.
The first step is to scan one of the bags that the pickers have left next to the station (with their respective products). When the system detects the bag, the products it contains will appear on the screen. Scan the barcode of a product.
Scan the products until the green bar of each one is complete.
Do the same with all the remaining products until they are all completed. When you finish, the shipping labels will be printed. Scan the labels to complete the order.
Once all the labels have been scanned, the screen will show that you have completed the task. Now, you can scan a bag to start another packing task.
IMPORTANT!
When you have completed the entire process, separate the orders by carrier to hand them over to the corresponding delivery driver.
